A cutting-edge electronic device is destined to take the way we listen to the next level- or so we’re being told.
The ‘Nervana’, launching in 2016, is designed to send electrical signals through the skin, triggering the Vagus nerve (no, really) while hooking up with music to get you in a “euphoric” state of mind, with technological wizardry capable of releasing pleasure-inducing chemicals such as serotonin, oxytocin and dopamine in sync with your favourite Avicii banger.
So has this innovative invention uncovered a way to make Tiesto tolerable? Punters have the opportunity to try it out at the global CES convention held in (where else) but Las Vegas, Nevada… or wait for the real thing with the projected commercial price tag of just US$299.99: a little more expensive than some mood-enhancing alternatives, but arguably safer as well.
