It seems every day there’s a new fad gadget to get our hands on- fitbits, google glasses, real-time language translators (finally!) and everything else that distracts us from updating all the applications on our smartphones- but if there’s anything that’s we see replacing our Casio calculator watches, it’s this.
Coming from an exceptionally high pedigree- both founders previously worked at Ableton and Native Instruments- the Basslet from Lofelt is wearable subwoofer designed for gaming, virtual reality, music production, and (of course), recreating the feeling of a giant speaker stack at 4am “anytime you want”, according to the video below:
As reported in Digital Trends, the Basslet package will contain the Basslet (of course), along with a “sender” that joints your speaker and your audio source, using the (contentious) 3.5mm audio jack. We’re happy to report the Basslet is also- thankfully- a rather gorgeous accessory, unlike it’s predecessor the sub-pac.
